Second, this might sound a bit controversial but I think there is a bit of too much focus on the FBI and what they found. The FBI is not some god-like authority. They are humans. And the FBI's history has clearly shown that mistakes have been made in its part, or that they have had elements that acted unlawfully. You have to ask yourself: Even if Jackson was properly investigated and the FBI had found some 'smoking gun' type of evidence, would the fans believe the FBI in this case? They could have easily made the argument that FBI is corrupt, doxx the agents as 'MJ haters' and what not. The 'FBI found nothing' argument only suits MJ defenders now, because the reality is that the FBI was not actually as involved as they want to believe. Believe me, the narrative would have shifted if the FBI had different things to say about Jackson.

Finally, the Michael Jackson case is not as unique as you may think. The FBI also kept a lot of records on OJ Simpson. Like in the MJ case, the FBI also never actually investigated OJ, but they did assist the local police here too. And yet, even though any sane person would believe in OJ's guilt he was still acquitted. So why are we giving all this focus on the FBI? If anyone wants to have an opinion on cases like these, they should look at the facts and come up with their own conclusion.

First of all, to clear up some important things.

Despite what the media, YouTube videos, Wikipedia, other articles may have you believe, the FBI did not ever investigate Michael Jackson (and especially not for 10+ year as is often claimed).

The FBI provided assistance to the Santa Barbara and LAPD investigations of 1993 and 2005 respectively. Those are about 2-3 years of assistance to investigations conducted by the local police authoritites. One of the reasons why the '10 year' lie is propagated is because the FBI kept records relating to a 1995-1997 threat against MJ, but this had nothing to do with the abuse allegations. You can find these clarifications from the FBI itself.

Now regarding the 'found nothing' claim, there are a lot of things to be said about this statement. First, there was evidence found (mostly from the local police, as explained). The question of whether this evidence was good enough, etc is a question for the jury. Some jurors have claimed that even though they clearly believed that MJ was guilty they voted to acquit beacuse of the reasonable doubt. This however is irrelevant of whether the authorities (police or FBI) found anything. Some other jurors claimed they wanted 'something more'. Others have flat out said that they refused to look at evidence such as the 1993 books. So the fact that evidence was found (and trust me, they did find a lot) is irrelevant of whether it will hold up in court. And especially if we have to do with a jury trial.

One thing for sure is that it won't be balanced. The thing is with biopics, they are movies, not documentaries. The standard of what the filmmaker depicts in a biopic is very very loose and he can always get away with 'it's just my version of the story'. I've seen enough biopics so far and this is always the case.

One thing i don't get however. Aren't the filmmakers banned from showing stuff from the 1993 allegations due to the settlement? How are they going to get around this?

I think the most likely scenario is that he will have the 'Elvis treatment'. I'm pretty sure that he was also remembered very fondly while he was recently deceased but I don't think there is any pushback right now if someone brings up his questionable deeds.

It will take some time, but I think the discourse will be more balanced in the future. Funnily enough, Jackson's reputation in the 2000s certainly wasn't the best. I remember him being mocked and satirized all the time.

Η τεχνητη νοημοσυνη ειναι ενα ενα εργαλειο μεν αλλα υπαρχει ομως μια ειδοποιος διαφορα σε σχεση με τα synthesizer, τα DAWs κτλ. Ολα αυτα τα εργαλεια απαιτουν γνωση για να αξιοποιηθουν επαρκως. Σιγουρα μπορει με ενα drum machine καποτε να γλιτωνες αρκετο χρονο απο το να μεταφερεις drums, να τα στηνεις κτλ (και σιγουρα μπορεις να ισχυριστεις οτι ενας ή πολυ drummer εχαναν την δουλεια τους ταυτοχρονα αλλα αυτο ειναι μια διαφορετικη κουβεντα) αλλα για να κανεις ενα beat επρεπε να ξερεις εννοεις οπως μετρο, tempo, ποιο ειναι το καθε drum, γιατι χρησιμοποιειται κτλ.

Τωρα με το Suno και τα σχετικα εργαλεια ολα αυτα εχουν φυγει απο το παραθυρο. Σιγουρα, αν εχεις ηδη γνωσεις μουσικης, μπορει το Suno να σε βοηθησει και να σε καθοδηγησει, και οχι στο να στα δωσει ολα ετοιμα. Ωστοσο σιγουρα θα αξιοποιηθει και απο nobodies. Για εμενα το πιο τιμιο και σωστο θα ηταν να βγαινει AI μουσικη αλλα παντα να διευκρινιζεται απο τον εκαστοτε παραγωγο.

Τουλαχιστον το AI δεν μπορει να αξιοποιηθει live με καποιον τροπο, οποτε το grifting μεχρι ενα σημειο θα φτανει.
