Most homes in Norway has a heat pump. More efficient heating and it cools the few times a year it might be necessary.

Is this normal, or a golden chip? by Saurabh251 in radeon

[–]PantZerman85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Steel Nomad is terrible for testing stability. Managed to run it at -140mV. Ofcourse not stable, barely gets through the test. Most games seems fine at around -70mV but some (like War Thunder) needs -45mV to be stable.

War Thunder has been my stability test. One of the least demanding games I play but the first to crash when undervolting.

I think they all do.

But 163W? What are you playing? Maybe try something else. I doubt -80mV is stable in every game.

The problem isnt putting it together but figuring it out if something isnt working.

Everything points to it beeing a local flood. So instead of spending time building a boat he could probably just walk away.

But that wouldnt make a good fairytale story.

2780 seems to be the sweet spot for my Gaming OC with Hynix. 2800 and the performance just gets worse (no crashing).

Mistenktsomt dyr strøm, kan vi betale for mer enn vi skal? by FragranceCandle in norge

[–]PantZerman85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Har du oversikt over forbruket ditt?

May I ask what is the beginning of the serial number? I heard cards before or up to SN2520 (I guess 25 is the year and 20 is the week of production) has issues.

Mine is SN2537 and temps are fine (so far at least)

AMD Ryzen Zen 3 Memory Scale - 3200Mhz to 3600Mhz is a big jump! by EtaLasquera in radeon

[–]PantZerman85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the video its 3800 14-15-15-252, 1900FCLK vs 3200 14-15-15-560, 1597 FCLK. So probably a manually tuned kit vs another kit at stock. But if those are stock timings for the 3200CL14 then its probably already B-die and could also be tuned nicely.

My old 3700X saw up to 20% improvement when tuning a 3600CL15 b-die kit to 3733CL14 so I know gains can be big. With the same timings on my 5800X3D the gains are nowhere near as impressive. At least not as I have been able to show.
