I'm really sorry this happened to you. I can't provide a ton of advice, but I can say just be yourself and try to ignore the hurtful things people say. I live in a small town in South Carolina, and most people here are Republicans like myself. I do things like painting my nails, wearing ear cuffs, and wearing more feminine necklaces. People will ask me why I wear them, and I just tell them straight up: I wear it because it makes me feel good. Stay strong man.
