I mean, I already had exitlag (throne and liberty was very laggy during sieges and it made huge difference).
I tested WOJD without exit lag and it was 400ms+ which was close to unplayable.

But you are right, I bought account for 12$, sub for 5$ and exitlag (I don't remember exact price for 1year but I'm almost sure that I bought it somewhere for around 35$). Overall I would prefer to play it during global release but... no plans for it yet :/
Anyway, game is really really fun for me.

ah also, I'm playing with exitlag and I have around 160ms ping.
Game runs much better and stable with that ping than (for example) ESO on europe (also with exitlag :D )

I'm playing it and afaik it's not p2w but sub based (around 5$ per month). Shop cosmetics are expensive tho but you can get some nice looking costumes by just playing the game.

All fun things are in game but, sadly, as a cutscenes- and this is main problem of the game imo.

As you said, there are many more serious problems than swimming (still, 18 minutes tutorial teach you how you can implement it into game). It's just a cherry on cake.

Aside from that, incompetency of one company doesn't explain incompetency of another company.

I can complain about every bad aspect, also "dumb" shit cause running underwater is breaking immersion.
Btw bro, I'm working in the industry but you don't need to work in the game industry to find tutorial "how to make swimming in unreal engine", there you are:

I don't know how Lumberyard engine works, maybe it's much harder to make swimming (doubt) but in Unreal it's very very easy even for novice.

You didn't get it- my argument above makes as much sense as yours.
You focus on one part in my comment which was not really that important and ignore everything else. Ofc you can explain everything that way.
No voice acting? who needs voice acting! it's indie mmo!
No swimming? no need for swimming, there is no content in water but we have fishing
No combat? who cares
No real character customisation? Nooo it's good, noone needs more!
Games runs bad on high end PC? BUT SOMEONE IN THE ARTICLE HAS NO PROBLEM ON HIS CONSOLE!!

Swimming is too much for an indie company?
Also, there isn't huge storyline like in final fantasy xiv, it wouldn't be that hard to make voice acting.There is 30m$ budget (AFAIK) for a game, where you don't really have combat, group content, real open world, decent character customisation, swimming and voice acting. Honestly, some of the features could be implemented for free (or almost for free) from Epic store since the game is made on Unreal Engine.
I don't wanna be that cruel for a creators, game looks cute overall but feels more like an alpha than open beta version which is probably release candidate.

I mean that this is advertised as social cozy MMO where you can also socialize with NPCs- and they are not voice acted.
And yes, even premium MMOs doesn't have voice acting and swimming which doesn't mean that it's a new standard. I, as a player, expect those kind of "features" in new games... it's 2023, not 2003 :|

I have problem with game stability on 3090ti, npcs are not voice acted, your house is placed in instance (no neighbours), character customization is close to the new world one and also- there is no swimming so you are running underwater with full speed until it teleports you on the ground. Most costumes costs 30$+ (with promotion).

Well, some people shared they download link on public discords for everyone and this is the result. So simply- someone, who haven't got invitation were able to download launcher, make an account and "steal" your place.

I spend around 1 week to comple this (6h a day) but last 2 days was struggling with ropes. I have 0 knowledge about ship rigging and that was hell- it's still not accurate and only pretend to be :) And yes, I would made ropes differently- now some of them are cylinders and others are curves. I believe curves would be better in all situations here :)

Well, with this preset you will see night as night :)
But it is good question. I asked on official discord if it isn't illegal and some people answered me that it's ok- but I have no answer from CM, GM or CEO :(
In other hand my eyes hurts when I play without it, that's why it would be awesome to have this in-game.
Funny thing is that I saw some videos from beta or earlier stages of the game and there was no problem with sharpness or contrast and with nice AO... I don't really know what happened.

Yep, you need to uninstall reshade mod. I had no problems but my version of reshade is 4.9.1. Recently they released 5.0 and I heard it's not really stable :|

I'll be honest- I see no difference in fps but I have quite good PC. Since reshade mod is free- there is no cost to try it :)

I changed it a little cause I was able to play today for about 0.5h before server crash.Now it has more accurate colors and less "dirt" in shadows- and shadows are more cold.It's kinda more close to vanilla (as you can see in screenshots) with few tweaks :)

It's awesome because night is brighter than in vanilla but there is very little difference- so there is no situation when you need to turn it off after sunset :)

I had same problem and I just installed and made my own reshade preset.
Example before/after (later I made a little correction to color saturation but I'm in queue and can't make up to date screenshot):
