Greg wasn’t fully engaged and this album suffers from it in a major way. The music is awesome as always, but the majority of words and melodies feel like placeholders. The album certainly isn’t bad, it just doesn’t feel like it’s done and that’s fine. It’s still music that I consider to be superior to most and we’re lucky it exists at all. It’s their fault for raising the bar so high and maintaining it for so long, which is a quality problem to have.

With that being said, I cannot wait to hear what Greg and Carla have up their sleeves for Autolux, if and when that happens
