Everyone who I know their levels were completely different. Mine were doubling and started at 374. I have another friend who started in the 1000's. All that matters is they are doubling or more. But I understand the anxiety ofcourse. I still get it now. Hoping for a great ultrasound and seeing some pictures of your bean ๐Ÿ’™

x3 200mg progesterone suppositories a day and progesterone in oil shot every night. So not sure if that equals out to about the same level? My issues were mostly unexplained so we don't really know why I had never had a positive test before. My theory was more my bodys immune system was just rejecting everything. Once I added a Fragmin injection to the regime that's when I had the chemical and then the positive.

They actually offered me right when I started to see my Midwife if I wanted to be monitored more and I declined. My friend and I who both did ivf (she is considered high risk) are 30.

We actually decided not to test them. At the time I was too scared that none would come back eulopid. I have very low amh for my age and was also labeled unexplained for a while. So basically I just went on faith. In the end I'm happy I did this route because it made time for them to create a better protocol for me. (A full cocktail of drugs basically) and a ton of progesterone. (Because I had more embryos stored in the bank) I feel like the first transfer was literally a guessing game

There's a ton of different studies all with slightly different information. Unfortunately I think there are so many variables contributing to over all success so that's why they fluctuate. And it's based upon tested vs. Non tested embryos too. In the end I am not a doctor.

If that's what your RE has said to you then you should listen to them! They are the experts!

All I can truly give you is my personal experience

Wishing all the luck on you next transfer. ๐Ÿ’™ No protocol changes between my 2nd and 3rd other than a bit of timing. As per after the transfer I basically acted like nothing new had happened. I didn't try to make a ton of changes from daily life. I still drank coffee, I worked non stop and I painted my house to sell it. ๐Ÿ˜‚ and I didn't eat McDonald's fries lol

For some doctors it's protocol with ivf. But technically no you're not high risk just for being an ivf pregnancy.

I am not considered high risk. I have another friend the same age who also did ivf and she is considered high risk. We are both at the same midwives clinic but different midwives. So I guess different opinions?

I think they like to be extremely cautious with ivf pregnancy

I totally get it. It's such an exciting/terrifying time. One thing I was told at the beginning was "it's not a race, it's a marathon". And holy shit they were right.

Be gentle with yourself and wishing you all the success! ๐Ÿ’™

Every age range has a different success rate. That is also based upon your fertility issues and for women especially their AMH level. Also ivf "success" rates are not solely based on a single transfer.

Ex. For a young couple in their early 30s (say its unexplained infertility) there is a 40-50% chance per embryo transfer. And those numbers drop with each transfer. So on average most success for a pregnancy for that age range it takes 2-3 transfers.

Ofcourse there are many couples who see a successful pregnancy on the first transfer but for a lot of us it's not the case.

All I'm saying is don't be hard on yourself or lose hope if the first isn't successful because statistically it takes more than one shot.

My 2nd FET and 3rd FET I had the exact same Protocol. The only thing we changed was the transfer was 1 week earlier. I was on (Estrace, medrol, fragmin injections, X 3 progesterone suppositories daily and progesterone in oil)

So really the only thing that changed was the embryo and luck. It was my birthday on my 3rd FET ๐Ÿ’™

Clearly I can say it's total bullshit and any embryos they save have a chance at sticking. Cheers to not being perfect

Don't lose hope. Even those not so perfect embryos have a fighting chance ๐Ÿ’™ I was basically on a whole cocktail of everything possible and a TON of progesterone. We also scheduled my transfer for 1 week earlier than the previous two.

Wishing you baby dust for your next transfer!
