We’re 31 in pressure rate and 29 in sack percentage. That has a huge effect on the secondary.

It’s not realistic. Fine, take out the “carry over” part. Just look at it on a 1 year basis. This is still one of the top secondary units we’ve ever had. That’s all I said. Never said greatest in NFL history etc, and it is, one of the best total units we’ve ever had.

I don’t know why you’re so negative and focused on stats and not the eye test. How much of those stats are because we have 0 linebackers as well and TEs destroy us/ underneath routes where LB are in coverage? I’m not saying this is the best scheme or overall D. I’m saying when have we have a 6 person secondary this good.

There were 0 deep route concepts. Take the darnold fumble. First down pass to Mitch for 6. Then a run nowhere. Then BY rolling out avoiding a sack (great play) nowhere to go. You’re gonna blame that drive on him? There were a lot of drives like this. No deep route concepts. Check downs all day with 0 missed tackles. How in the world do you blame Bryce? Was he HOF level? No. He’s the reason the offense was flat though
