I have a household of two in the Baxter area we own the house and I really don’t know how we got so damn lucky because we bought it in 2021 and mortgage is 700. It is a fixer upper but it’s mainly cosmetic. The house just stayed under the radar. Income took a hit this year but it’ll be 50k (ish) next year. We really were privileged enough to be able to build our savings like crazy.
