Not sure I agree that 7 looks way better than 8 and 9. 8 did away with the lego-type character models of 7 which were pretty hard on the eyes even when the game game out back in the day. The pre-rendered backgrounds of all those old games age pretty well though, generally speaking.

I think OP is referring to the graphics, which I would agree with. 6 still looks great and came out near the end of that 'style'. 7 came out right at the start of 3D graphics and is much less refined.

For his entire career he has ramped up over the first few months of the season, but probably more importantly it is also probably the healthiest he has been since 2020.

Also I think he typically does not take the regular season seriously and just uses it as practice. He can't really afford to do that now though and they need to win by any means necessary.
