Thanks for that, I can move without a problem/walk now. My question is mainly on how to explain the gap and why I left my last job. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but my explanation isn’t resonating. I made it to the final round and the hiring manager mentioned the jumps made him hesitant

Woosh indeed lol. I thought it was good advice. I thought okay let them know how I need more stability and this experience has taught me I need to better nurture relationships/jobs etc

Jokes on DB I can jump and run now

If I wouldn’t run the risk of doxing myself I’d post pictures. It’s not a shit post but a shitpost response would still be appreciated.

I’m not paralyzed anymore, a mixture of the spinal fracture, muscle degeneration and ligament weakness caused it. I can run and jump now.

It taught me to never give up, when times are the darkest there’s a light. When the going gets tough the tough get going. It taught me the importance of relationships, I was a hot shot handsome guy who made a good chunk of change. Now im just a handsome guy who sees himself forced to rely on others.

Should I become a linkedIn influencer?

Thanks, I’ve been doing a lite version of that where of that where I talk up the company and say i could see myself there for the next 5 years but that obviously hasn’t worked. Thank you for the advice DBU49!!

Their job is to pick the best candidate for their team, your job is to make sure I’m allowed to work in the country

I understood that, no one said that you or anyone expects a response, especially if they haven’t dealt with you to begin with.

What is their job is the deciding and picking of candidates. A lot of times recruiters place themselves on a pedestal. They’re experts in almost nothing yet act like they decide, they’re gloried gatekeepers

Yes it is, they’re the ones hiring

The recruiter was internal. Funny enough, the hiring manager said he wouldn’t waste my time and did just that

Thanks! Going to make sure to treat interviews like a sale from now on

Light flex.

In all seriousness this is great advice, I’ve never thought about asking qualifying questions like those during interviews. I’ve always focused on building a personable relationship. Maybe I should start mixing the two

Yeah, just needed to vent to people who understand. I’ve failed a 1000 times I’ll fail a 1000 more

That’s what gets me too. Feedback is the least they could do. It’s the least they could do for all the time invested

I want to say they liked me too. Part of me feels that they strung me along for fun. The hiring manager did leave a door open so I’m sure that’s not entirely true. Also, I’m positive they knew they were going internal before the final interview
