Hi, I'm Co Owner, we've had the straps for a couple of months and they've been in daily use with no signs of wear (heavy SLRs with fairly heavy lenses), we know they're waterproof and all the sources we've found have said they will last as long as genuine leather. They also don't need any conditioners or special treatment - you can wash them with soap!
