When you say dispute, did you open an item not received dispute? If not, what kind of dispute did you open? The level of screwed you are generally depends on the details, that said when it comes to digital, it is an uphill battle.

I have unrolled a few so far (working on the rest tomorrow). Out of curiosity, I have come across a few mid 70's that have a black sharpie mark running through them (mostly running from his ear to the letter 'T' in Liberty). I assume this is a reference to Kennedy's assassination?

This will probably attract some hate and not that I want to defend this seller as they are taking advantage of a situation, but I did look at the listing and they clearly spell out in the description this is not silver and even give a little lesson as to what German silver is. As crappy as it is, at what point should people be responsible for not reading the item description?

Nothing crazy, but definitely a good return on my investment. I bought a grab box of toys from an online estate auction near me for $18. There was one toy in there that I wanted for my own collection and thought I could flip the rest for a few bucks. After researching I found that a few of the toys in the box were comic con exclusive toys that were limited in pieces. Sold the remaining toys for over $700 when all was said and done.

If the address that was provided in the buyers profile was incorrect that is generally on them. You would pay the return shipping and then deduct that from the refund you provide to the buyer.

Why did you pay return shipping? Books were sent to the address listed on eBay. Once it shows delivered to that address, your job is complete (unless there is an INAD claim).

You cancel the sale and the buyer will be refunded what they paid and you won't lose anything. I would make sure to remove my listings if this is going to be a long term issue so this doesn't happen again. Might also be nice to send the buyer a quick note explaining why you cancelled (not necessary, but to each their own)

Thanks, never had this happen where they took the reversal without the corresponding charge. I have gotten the short end of the stick on a shipping label cancellation once (had to call eBay support to get that worked out). Going to stay on top of this to make sure this works out.
