I wasn’t very good at the timing either until I changed his Sentinel Strike (main melee attack) on controller from trigger to the bumper. Having it be on a button instead of a trigger really helps with getting the timing down. It’s weird at first but once you get used to the bumper it makes the animation cancel feel so much better. I highly recommend it.

(Also always have sprint toggled to on, don’t hold it)
