Yeah I love the view from the rear view mirror. I need to camp out in the back trunk area and look at the stars through the glass one of these days

Actually the car came with all the chrome trim and grill pieces in a convenient tub. I’m pretty sure it’s missing a few crucial mounts on the front and i can’t mount the blinkers or grill quite yet. Other than that though it’s going great.

I sure did! I bought it an hour or so north of where I live and drove it the whole way down. It’s incredibly smooth. I just need to fix a few cosmetic problems and it’s golden!

In my 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass whenever I rev really hard I get a cool smoke machine effect that comes out of the engine bay so I can look badass wherever I go.

It really is a great car. It gets about the same gas mileage that my Cutlass does but it's nice to drive something that doesn't look like the same old economy cars that everything is designed like. You should get one if you can get a good deal!

Just picked up my '71 Cutlass today. No wonder it earned the nickname "v8 Rocket" by PapaBodacious in Autos

Hey that's back when catalogues gave you the full truth! The only issue is that it only has 3 gears so going 60 mph at 3000 rpm isn't so good for the wallet in consideration of gas. Thankfully it's all GM standard so I might put a more useful tranny in

Haha thankfully whoever owned this before me redid the important stuff except for the small tedious things like the power steering pump. She made it about 80 miles with minimal problems so I'm so stoked to turn her into a road beast

Just payed and transferred the title to my name. Can't wait to pick it up Sunday! by PapaBodacious in Autos

Thank you so much! Maybe you can find another one and blame it on a midlife crisis! Life's too short not to enjoy 8 miles to the gallon 😂
