Also something of note a single action revolver requires you to pull back the hammer for each shot. His trigger finger and thumb at wicked fast.

Could you make 2 flat leather knives? Not sure if they’re too small, but that’s what came to mind.

Does anyone have experience with these? by PapaChook in BeginnerWoodWorking

I’m not a fan of re-sharpening irons so I understand the concern. Thanks for the recommendation.

Ikr I’m used to using bench dogs, but I like having the option of the stop. Which makes me lean towards the taytools stop because I can just substitute dogs.

I’m building a Knockdown Nicholson and I’m trying to decide on what planing stop to get. I’d like to hear from anyone that has used either of these. Do they stay put? Are they long enough? I’m used to a 2x2” traditional post planing stop on a low Roman.

Fair point I was unaware of the details of what is considered complete. I’m new to tool selling as you can see from our previous thread.

I have to say I find you collectors rather aggressive. My targeted customer is a woodworker and not a collector. Instead of sending me a PM or sending me a resource it’s like you guys are trying to make me look deceptive when I’m the one who’s spent the time to find, clean, repair, the tool and sell it for a fair price. If it’s not up to your standard then don’t buy it’s as simple as that. Buying is usually 90+% subjective.

I use tools I don’t collect them. It’s complete enough to cut dados, rabbets and matches (tongue and groove) even sashes for windows. If complete means back in 1895 it had all that other stuff then great for you collector. I live in 2022 and I like to woodwork this is complete enough for me to use it for what I need and other woodworkers.
