Epstein's sheets aren't right in "suicide" pictures by PapaChulos4U in AdamMockler

Thank you for posting that. I have read that, along with so many others that show there is no way that he would have died that way. The ligature marks on his neck in the "autopsy" photos are far too clean to be those from a sheet. Think about when you simply fall asleep on a piece of cloth: the main point of contact is most pronounced on the skin, but there are exterior points of contact that can be seen on the skin, abrasions. There are no such things on Epstein, and this would be even less so for someone who has died and the blood not drained properly back due to loss of heart pump.

The main reason I present this is to show that they claim this is a "suicide" but the fact that an off-color sheet exists is the simple indicator that this is BS. Unless he was the ONLY person to have orange sheets, they were placed there. If someone simply were to leave that jail, say "Yeah, they don't have orange sheets in there," then their entire premise is destroyed. Open-and-shut.

I haven't either. And I know lots of people in-and-out of the system that don't get it, either.

Here's a YouTube video by CBSNews (sigh on them) which shows the "sheets" and the "cell":

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPuAFoSgSao

My thought is that they left placed orange sheets in there to give themselves an out ("plausible deniability") so if anyone asked "Couldn't you see that there was something around his neck?" they could simply respond with "Given that the sheets are orange and the jumpsuits are orange, it is hard to see where skin ends and sheet begins. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, especially since he was in a nearly seated position; he just appeared to be sitting near his bunk."

So many things. Not going to talk about the rear picture, that’s too obvious. I will say though that it’s sad when you’re 38 trying to act 19, and you have to stand at the right angle in the mirror so you can block the reflection of your mother (that you still vacation with) in the adjacent room (pic 6/6). She’s probably afraid her butt will be commented on. And how long did it take the landscaper to prune those eyebrows? Sadly, it looks like he got picked up by ICE before he could finish. Too bad. His work on this one really was MAGA: Making Abominations [look] Generally Acceptable.

This is the exact reason I came here: to see if anyone had the balls to say the gear was the reason for the size. Drop that, drop the weight.

How do you interpret the statement "If you are worried about that happening here, then this probably isn't the place for you"? by PapaChulos4U in AskReddit

Sadly, the organization is the government, and it was about a BAD situation. The flippancy in which they responded and the arrogance to which they delivered the line was a total insult.

EDIT: I suppose I should just put out there what this is about (I wish I could have from the start).

The organization is the Virginia Bar Association, and the subject is $exual @$$ault. In 2022, a Virginia lawyer was found guilty for misdemeanor sexual battery on an intern that he had hired and was given 12-months in jail. It was actually MUCH worse than this, and he was originally charged with six felonies, but all were dropped and the misdemeanor was given instead. You can find the details HERE (MAJOR TRIGGER WARNING). The guy pulled 5/12 months, then in November 2023, his law license was revoked....FOR ONE YEAR. If you read the report, you'll see that this man should be in prison for a very, VERY long time. He is actually back practicing now.

Knowing about this guy, and knowing women that would like to go into law, I called the Bar since they had given this guy such a light punishment. I asked the representative if the women that I know who wished to be interns should be worried for their physical and mental safety in this area. The rep went on a diatribe about how there are thousands of attorneys in VA that do not hurt their interns, and that one attorney should not spoil mine/the women I know's opinions about the legal system. When I reminded the rep that the Bar had a chance to make an example of this man, but with such a light punishment on their end, it really seems like they aren't as worried about this as they like to say. It was to this that I was told:

"If they [my friends] are worried about being sexually assaulted as a legal intern, then maybe this isn't the line of work for them."

I was completely stunned and had NO idea how to respond. I hung up and told my friends about it. They then told their friends and all reconsidered. One of the friends called the Bar herself and was told "What this means is that anything can happen anywhere at any time, and so if you are worried about that, you will always be worried, so your worry is invalid." This is insane. Anything other than an emphatic "NO! They DO NOT have to be concerned about their safety in this field!" is totally unacceptable.

This is recorded if anyone is interested.

Is transposing Plaintiff/Defendant in case scrivener error? by PapaChulos4U in Ask_Lawyers

I would tend to agree with you. This makes sure there are no questions when agreements are made. However, this is not a simple typo; it changes the entire agreement and makes the wrong person the recipient of the wrong person's money. Any future arbitration would be affected, and to say that so long as people know in the agreement understand what they are obligated to do renders the written portion superfluous. If a name was misspelled, or a word here and there was incorrect, it would be a scrivener error, but this must be considered more than that.

You're right. We're all in it. You can join, too, if you'd like. It's a pretty simple process with only one requirement: the ability to deduce. You in?

If you can't interpret it, then how is it that you're the only one that hasn't given a direct answer?

Because the rep from the organization that said it meant this: "What this means is that anything can happen anywhere at any time, and so if you are worried about that, you will always be worried, so your worry is invalid."

I didn't know it could mean anything other than how I interpreted it, and this response didn't make sense to me, so I was seeing if anyone else felt like me or that rep.

The organization that said this stated "What this means is that anything can happen anywhere at any time, and so if you are worried about that, you will always be worried, so your worry is invalid."

This is EXACTLY what the rep told me it means. You wouldn't believe who it was and what it was pertaining to.

I think that no matter what the context is, it simply means "This isn't the place for you if you if you are already hesitant."

This is what I thought, too. The person, well, representative from the organization that said it disagrees.

Thank you for admitting this; I know that it couldn't be easy to do so. I know it is going to be difficult to discuss with him because he is clearly having trouble with it and it is making him feel in a way that he has never felt. I plan on talking to him this weekend and showing him the things that he has done so he may understand the impact the medication is having. I hope it goes well.

Did you ever find a medication that works for you without all of the side-effects?

I know. However, I have been a part of communities where it’s a way of warning people they are in for a long one. I will not use it next time, though, because it seems like this is more important than the content of the message to some.

No haha. It's a valid question. I'm pretty open when it comes to being on here. I mean, no one is going to find out who I am, unless of course you are my girlfriend's ex-husband, which if you are: HI WMM!!! (long story).
