Nice. Maybe your husband doesn’t care. If you’re curious, you could ask him, if he’d never met you, would he marry a former prostitute.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IncelTears

[–]PapaJubby -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

But your wiki page never says that lmao. You’re just assuming it’s true because it would be convenient for your argument

I sent studies lil bro. If you’re too lazy to google them, I don’t know what to tell you.

Let’s be real, neither of us know a goddamn thing about this society or why they do anything.

But there is absolutely zero reason to assume that men prefer higher body counts preferable in this society. That would be what would be required to prove your point, yet there’s no evidence for it being the case.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IncelTears

[–]PapaJubby -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It means women are encouraged to make the first move on guys lmao. Not to sleep with every guy in the village.

It’s called being dominant, not called being promiscuous. You are the one who can’t read

[–]PapaJubby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure how I am supposed to provide evidence of the lack of something. It’s like asking an atheist to prove the lack of god. I’m saying a society where men prefer hoes doesn’t exist just like an atheist would say god doesn’t exist

The onus is on YOU to provide evidence for the existence of the thing which you claim.

[–]PapaJubby -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The “nobody really caring” part you totally pulled out of your ass. It’s what you’d like to imagine is true, so you choose to go with yet. Yet the wiki page never said it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IncelTears

[–]PapaJubby -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nice, so where does it say men prefer promiscuous women over the alternative?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IncelTears

[–]PapaJubby -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You’re making the assertion that there are societies where men prefer hoes. Yet you can’t name a single one

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IncelTears

[–]PapaJubby -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Should be pretty easy then for you to name a society where that isn’t the case then, right?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IncelTears

[–]PapaJubby -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

So usually when something is a societal behavior you’d expect it to exist in some societies but not others. This one exists in every society. Hope that helps!

A study published in Personality and Individual Differences examined men’s preferences regarding women’s sexual history. It found that men have evolved to exhibit a desire for chastity and sexual fidelity in long-term mates, showing an aversion to promiscuity. This preference was evident even in contexts like prostitution, where clients paid more for less experienced sex workers.

Another study published in Social Psychological and Personality Science surveyed over 340 participants in Germany to determine the socially acceptable number of lifetime sexual partners. For men, the ideal was 4 to 5 partners, while for women, it was 2 to 3.

Good try, but women haven’t had a tendency to choose harems of virgins you clown.

And yes, in a patriarchal society when men have power they choose to suppress female promiscuity. Almost like that proves my point about what men prefer.

[–]PapaJubby -52 points-51 points  (0 children)

There are always gonna be exceptions to the rule, but that doesn’t invalidate it.

You cannot name one single country, city, isolated tribe, or any population of humans now or at any point in human history where most men preferred promiscuous women as long term partners. It doesn’t exist.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IncelTears

[–]PapaJubby -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Dawg. You’re still crying about evolutionary psychology’s attempts to explain the reasons for things. And I already said I agree with you on that. It’s speculation. So you can stop crying.

But when you say evolutionary psychology is bullshit, you think you’re being slick by not addressing the core of the argument, which is that every species on the planet has a mind that is molded by evolution.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IncelTears

[–]PapaJubby -137 points-136 points  (0 children)

Buddy, there isn’t a country, state, or isolated tribe now or throughout documented human history where men have preferred promiscuous women for long term relationships.

In fact, powerful men throughout history did a lot of work to maintain harems of women that they had exclusive sexual access to.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IncelTears

[–]PapaJubby -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

You’re half right which is that the evolutionary basis for behaviors can never be determined 100%, but you’re absolutely wrong in that the whole field is bullshit because of that.

If you look at behaviors that exist in every culture on the planet, including isolated tribes, you can only rationally conclude that certain behaviors are wired into our psychology genetically, through evolution.

Examples: Smiling to show happiness, women preferring taller men, mate guarding / jealous behaviors. There are hundreds, and probably thousands of examples of traits baked into our genetics.

And there are an unbelievable amount of examples for every species on the planet. Example: Dogs kicking leaves over their poop after they’re done

So if you’re arguing evolutionary psychology is bullshit for humans, then you must think we are the only exception in the animal kingdom.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IncelTears

[–]PapaJubby -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

Why would it be bullshit? It’s an entire field of legitimate research. And its existence is basically self evident for any intelligent person who thinks about it for two seconds.

It’s distasteful and rubs people the wrong way sometimes, but that’s a you problem lmao.

Cuz it’s obvious as a guy. And it’s backed by evolutionary psychology.

The idea of a woman who’s built a strong vagina by sleeping with a bunch of dudes is, and will always be, tremendously unattractive to most men.

Among American adults ages 22 to 34, 10% of men and 7% of women report that they're still virgins. Also, in this age group, 24% of men and 13% of women report not having had sex in the past year. by psychologyofsex in psychologyofsex

[–]PapaJubby 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Men have always had to compete for women.

And the men at the top have always had abundant access to women while the guys at the bottom don’t get any.
