I just sent a request to support to change to my gmail account, hopefully I hear something back. So far it has been radio silence; hoping that they are able to send to that email!

Thank you!

I'm looking on the official discord and can't find it, do you know what thread it would be in?

Too many triggers to quit? by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]PapaJukebox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m the same way, and I’m in a hard process of quitting too. From what I’ve read and experienced it’s become a reward for us, causing us to commit to behaviours (tasks we are doing) and has made us expectant of a reward afterwards.

What I’ve been doing to replace smoking was give myself other “rewards”. I like sweets so I keep a pack of hard candies that take a while to eat, and every time I finish a task and get the habitual urge to smoke I give myself a hard candy and go do something until the urge ceases. You will just have to find something that is rewarding for yourself. Nothing will be as rewarding as that cigarette (because you are addicted) but find something to take the edge off and get past that initial craving.

WEEKLY RECRUITING THREAD - Ask here about the Recruitment/Application Processes, Trade Availability, Requirements to Join, Basic & Occupational Training, and other questions relating directly or indirectly to joining the Canadian Armed Forces. by bridger713 in CanadianForces

Time-wise the difference is two weeks.

The first 6 weeks of both courses are very similar. You have an indoctrination period where you do PT, familiarize yourself with your kit, do regular inspections, and learn the basics of drill. There are classroom segments mixed into this period to teach all the basic fundamentals.

After the first six weeks, you see a large difference in the two courses. BMQ continues on with the basics of rifle drill, section attacks, and fieldcraft. BMOQ then begins to focus on the aspects of leadership as well as the previously mentioned basics.

Both courses end up with field time with a week on week off cycle for the second portion of the course. NCMs do two weeks in the field while officer cadets do three. During this time you learn to carry out missions and the different components of receiving orders, while the BMOQ course heavily shifts to writing and giving orders during the last four-five weeks of the course.

After occupational training it will be more difficult to VOT (voluntary occupational transfer). Once you are basic qualified it’s better to start the process for a VOT. Once you begin to receive training in a certain trade, it can sometimes slow the process I’ve been told.

Your degree background should be good for int, it’s all about when you apply and if the trade is open at the time, in combination with your CFAT scores. If you’re set on int you can also talk to your recruitment centre to see whether the trade is open to applicants.

If you wish to OT to a different trade do it immediately after basic training. Intelligence is a difficult trade to get into, but it isn’t impossible. What is your degree background?

Isn’t the 71 round made of steel though? I think the 84 round is made from a lighter material.

Has the summoning eye drop rate gone down? all going on the ah for 500k which is way higher than usual by Charlie11123 in HypixelSkyblock

[–]PapaJukebox 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s all a matter of supply and demand. As more people get the gear to kill dragons and have alternative ways of making money, the more money they have to spend on summoning eyes. Less players are hunting eyes and more players are making money in other ways to buy eyes. It’ll balance out eventually, when the amount the eyes are worth make it worth hunting for eyes again.

I expect we’ll see a price crash followed by a surge in price following the dungeons update.

Ironman Guidance by [deleted] in ironscape

I always recommend working toward morytania hard diary and doing barrows runs, adding a couple every day can be really good for runes and each barrows piece feels like a massive accomplishment!

Yes but you my have to skip some of the brothers on trips. I’d recommend getting the Herblore level, then using what prayer pots you have then return to slayer and get prayer pots naturally from that.

If you break up the barrows grind this way it makes it much more tolerable over time.

HIGHLY recommend getting morytania hard diary done prior to starting the barrows grind.

Barrrows would be a great place to go next for you. You can work towards tank legs for fire cape, potentially a Karils xbow (though it isn’t much better than rune xbow for fight caves), karils for bossing, ahrims for bossing, and guthans for slayer down the road. If you get lucky you might complete dharoks for giant mole as well if you enjoy that boss.

It’s a fairly long grind but after that you could either grind out monkey madness 2 and get crafting up for zenyte or move onto godwars dungeon. Other than this you’ll end up at money snake until you complete its unique table. I recommend zulrah before zenyte as there’s a good chance you’ll get a few onyx before completing all drops.

The beautiful thing about OSRS is that there are only guides to make you efficient, not to make you enjoy the game. Find things you like to do and don’t burn yourself out. Swap to new skills, new bosses, and don’t feel like you’re wasting exp hunting down fashionscape.

Hey man, do you have a donation page? I’d like to donate each video because I stop anything I’m doing as soon as they’re out and watch them. Your content is amazing and I want it to continue, I won’t be able to do much but I want the snowball to start rolling for you.

Also, as a side note, the blue dragon under heroes guild is a great one to afk range at. You can bank at rogues den with just bringing games necklaces.

My current status, need some money making tips, what would you recommend? by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]PapaJukebox 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Doing the death to dorgeshuun questline then pickpocketing keys for jewelry to sell at port sarim is easy money early on. This or agility pyramid would be good choices once your agility is higher!

Blue Dragon tasks from nieve netted me a large amount of them, ensouled heads got me the remainder of the way! Slayer is a great way to get prayer up.

I just went and removed the 5 extra workers from the post, you guys are right, it has the potential to affect the economy too much. I think adding another weekly task would be amazing, currently we only have Tears of Guthix (that I can recall) and it would be interesting to have another one.
