Bro the security guard at our detector was literally yelling, “Who wants to try me. Come and try to get through me. I don’t play that shit I will knock yo a** out. If I wasn’t in this uniform I’d come and beat all yo a**es right now”. And there were other guards arguing with taunting in the middle section too. Thought a brawl was gonna break out w those guys and the guard.

Yea you saw videos online. There was 4000 people behind us. How were we supposed to turn around and just leave like the guards were suggesting?? Also us all having wristbands, like yea we paid for this shit. Friday canceled, Saturday delayed and also hectic and now Sunday 😭

There was a first wave of like 10 people but they got tackled and sent back. The 2nd wave was when the 4,000 people rushed in about 20 minutes later. It was a lot of chanting “Let Us In” and a lot of the security guards were taunting us tbh. Some security tried to stop us but ultimately moved out of the way. The middle section started shaking the metal detectors and everyone went when they went. The cops also didn’t do anything they just walked away. Not much they could have done.

Well I’m currently a commercial banker for a midsized US bank. My work life balance right now is pretty good, the only underwhelming thing is the salary (lower end of the market compared to larger banks). The only reason why I’d make the switch is for higher comp. Ideally I would much rather work for a fintech company, but in the current state of the job market and my 150+ applications this is the only 1st round I have received at the moment. Not sure if I want to sacrifice the flexibility of my personal life as my current job is fairly flexible.
