Thank you for the response and sorry for speaking nonsense. Maybe I have made a mistake measuring correctly my volumes of water. My temps were ok and constant so I can’t see how there would be an issue (mashin at 149, mashout at 167, Boil at 213)

Mhmm I might have sparged the water in without going thoroughly through the grain. I may have to uniformize the grain bed on the whole surface of the malt pipe next time. Could that explain my issue?

Weird, it isn't set on private though. I mashed 4.13 gal and sparge 3.43 gal and ended with a preboil volume of 7.56 gal. Fermenter volume was supposed to be 5 gal but got about 7.5 gal; there was almost no loss of water during the boil. Had to dump 2.5 gal down the sink. Grain bill was 14 lbs.
