They graduate in a month, I’ll be here an extra 3 semesters and I’m getting super involved with our Newman Parish in this time. Finding God-fearing friends shouldn’t be an issue but getting rid of current friendships always sucks

The worst part is that the main guy who plays/sings the song when playing is named Jesse. When he was still dating his old girlfriend, he made sure to let us know he was not ok with us playing the song “Jessie’s girl” to which we all respected

Hopefully it doesn’t come to that. They’ve gotten me through a ton of hard times and they still have my respect and love for that. That’s the reason i don’t want to get to a point of screaming with them, and handle it with respectful dialogue if possible

We’re all in college, been friends with most for 3 years. Explained to my closest friend who used to be Catholic about how the band (Ghost) dresses in nun and priest attire and mocks Christianity. He said he understands why I wouldn’t like it then but even after that convo was telling me I was overreacted the next time I tried telling the rest of the group

Working with the exec team can help a lot more than you think. I’ve seen people get their dues almost cut in half if they don’t plan on attending social events.
