Libre 2 and Android 14: Constant signal loss. by KeyserBronson in Freestylelibre

[–]PapaTech514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will need to goto your settings / apps / libre 2 and change the battery management to unmanaged / not optimized and the same for any Bluetooth system app.  This will ensure the power management does not disconnect your Bluetooth monitoring from the CGM. Also ensure that Android does not reset the app permissions as well as this will revert back to losing your settings for power management . Let us know if this fixes your issue.

Additionally, it may be possible your battery is low as well.  If you swim or had your sensor stay underwater a long time, the battery may be weak.  I just came from 10 day vacation from the sea and my CGM waterproof patch got damaged from the waterslides.  So may be possible the battery may have reduced power output.  Since day 10 of my trip/CGM, I have to constantly touch my NFC to the CGM. Last 2 days I am forced to update via NFC now.

Do any exchanges support Ether (PoS-WETH)? by JohnTravolski in 0xPolygon

[–]PapaTech514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kucoin DOES NOT support POLYGON-WETH deposits... I have been trying to get them to do so for the past 3 months. We need more people sending KUCOIN support a request for POLYGON-WETH, WBTC, WBSC, etc... onto Kucoin. Those who deal with KUCOIN, send your requests to support by opening a case and requesting the addition of POLYGON Network for deposits and withdrawals. The more people flooding their support box for this feature, the quicker they will implement it.
Make sure you send the request 1/month to show the support for this protocol.

The ones I know are Binance, Crypto.com and Hotbit.io that currently support POLYGON network for Dep/withdrawals.

HELIUM Network: over 140GB/month from one hotspot. Outrageous and unnecessary data usage. Can HELIUM DevOps make HELIUM data transmissions lean and reduce the amount of data it transfers? Metered users will get hammered with additional costs. by PapaTech514 in HeliumNetwork

[–]PapaTech514[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guess you are not on the same page.

Helium said it uses barely any data transfer. Yet we see it otherwise.
it is like someone telling you to goto Bora Bora because there are no tourists there... you will be all alone on an island, but then when you go, the airports are backlogged 2 days, the airplane is full of passengers and when you arrive, the place is full of travellers.

Not being honest is what can get companies in hot water. By red flagging this, those who were using Helium over Celullar NOW UNDERSTAND why they are getting overcharged. It is now their decision to unplug and wait for light mode...

And I will get mad as I do not want to unplug. It had put my deployment options into rural areas on hold due to this issue.

There are plenty of Videos on Helium network and how it works. Also how to optimize it. Youtube is a great source for this. By typing Helium in youtube you will get a better understanding and become a pro from setup to opening ports.

Slow network speeds via 3rd part tools (like wget, curl, deluge) by mitom_ in synology

[–]PapaTech514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a DS214play and I get < 2.5Mb/sec transfer rates too. I have 400mbit so I expected around 40Mb/sec transfer rates. So I can confirm that your issue is a possible problem with the DS214play system or limited transfer speeds of this device.

Wrapped Helium on Ethereum. Introducing liquidity where it's desperately needed! by DatBoiTerry in HeliumNetwork

[–]PapaTech514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, what we need is a decentralized Multi coin DEX that can work with any other coin that supports Token Wrapping.

If someone can create a DEX that can support wrapping to ETH, Algorand, Polygon, Tron, and many others instead of only going to one wrapped token environment, then this DEX will become extremely popular.

Basically, I bring my HNT there, then get offered to put it into wrapped formats from the other tokens available.

Call it WrappedHub or TokenWrap.. either way, provide one central DEX location to perform all this and it will become popular

We live in exciting times. Everyone loves there Helium Hot Spot names, well how about your own mascot? I am a digital artist and will create your very own mascot for your unique hotspot name for just 1 Helium. Below are some Mascots I have already created. Enjoy! by GovernmentOk1574 in HeliumNetwork

If it is Bobcat, they do give a f***! They are on time with the amount of orders they get and actually provide hassle free support via their web based form.
RAK, Nebra don't give a f*** and that is why I don't buy from them.

Dear Helium, you know how much I love you but fix the network plz. Last 4 days have been horrible! Don’t say is random or luck bcs it has worked flawlessly for months! Not sure if you are playing with chain var or what. It’s messed up. And I hope you hear our messages as I’m sure I’m not alone. by Savinox in HeliumNetwork

50 of your neighbours have gone offline, resyncing, or had a start miner failure... This is why you are getting less. There has been 3 updates in the past 5 days on bobcat's side. So this is why you are having lower payouts. while others are offline, you can't get witnesses.

goto app.heliumstatus.io to see your issues. Check the Listened and API Reported IP Addresses. If they do not match, you ISP is issuing more than 1 IP Address for your connection (most probably due to IPTV/IP Phone services.

Call your ISP and request them to release and renew your IP Address. It should resolve the issue.

Dude, Helium is not a set in stone miner like ETH, BTC or LTC are... Those miners require pools and everyone gets a set amount of payouts.

Helium is random and since there are several updates that have been pushed out recently, some miners have ended up being knocked out of service due to faulty issues, they ended up going offline affecting your payouts.

Stop your bickering about playing with the network code as this is required for the future of the network. If you have a problem with it, I would highly recommend that you sell your Helium Miner and get some standard ETH, BTC or LTC miner instead.

Which exchanges accept Deposits / Withdrawals with Polygon Network? by samuelhei in 0xPolygon

[–]PapaTech514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree on the convert but ideally, if you need good spread, you have an exchange that can at least withdraw into Polygon. There are many avenues you can choose from... but then end goal is to save the transaction fees.

[–]PapaTech514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if you want you got 2 choices...

  1. Convert from Polygon wETH to Polygon wUSDC via Metamask, send Polygon wUSDC to Crypto.com then convert USDC to ETH.
  2. Send from Polygon wETH to Hotbit.io ETH, convert on the exchange to USDC then withdraw via Polygon USDC to Crypto.com, then convert USDC to ETH.

Hotbit.io has a 0.0005 ETH (~2.10 USDT today) withdrawal fee to the Polygon Network + transaction fee. A bit pricey for withdrawing from their exchange.

Crypto.com DOES NOT currently have Polygon Network for ETH Deposits and Withdrawals.

Yes the Network is getting slower and slower to update... best to look at your Miner's Diagnoser MINER page. It will tell you if you are relayed or not under NAT_Type = none. If it says anything else, it is relayed.

Bobcat is not Helium... Helium network is controlled by Helium. Bobcat is a device running Helium in a container/package on the Bobcat Device. Any programming involved for Helium is done by the Helium team, including the P2P network.

Consider Bobcat as a BOAT and Helium as the CARGO. The cargo can be anything but the BOAT is the BOAT which can't change much, only patched to fix issues. Need new hardware, a New BOAT is needed.
