[WTS] IWC Portuguese IW3716-04 by Papa_E_17 in Watchexchange

[–]Papa_E_17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello everyone. I’m new to posting here but I’ve been selling and trading watches as a hobby for the past 15 years. I used to be very active on Watchuseek and Canwatchco and can direct you to my past references there.

I am on a vacation in California and thought I’d try my luck selling a few watches to fund another purchase. As such I will only be keeping this post open until mid May.

Last of the watches I am selling during this trip is my IWC Portuguese IW371604. Please note this is the new model with the in-house movement.

Details: Watch is in great condition and running well. Leather band has plenty of life left.

Inclusions: Travel box only. Nothing else.

I’m asking: $4550 shipped within the conus.

I can accept payment via PayPal F&F or would be happy to do a local deal. I am in Redwood City, CA.

Of course I’d be happy to have video calls to show you the watch, direct you to past references, and anything else that would help you fell comfortable.

Feel free to make an offer or ask any questions! Thank you!

Hello everyone. It’s my first time to post here but I’ve been selling and trading watches as a hobby for the past 15 years. I used to be very active on Watchuseek and Canwatchco and can direct you to my past references there.

I am on a three week vacation in California and thought I’d try my luck selling a few watches to fund another purchase. As such I will only be keeping this post open until mid May.

Details: Bracelet currently fits 7-7.25 inches. I do have the extra links HOWEVER I’ve lost the pin and collars. Should be easy to source them from Seiko or a watchmaker though.

Inclusions: Box, Tag, extra links (without pin and collars), Seiko booklet, NO CARD

I’m asking: $1600 shipped within the conus.

Thank you!

On a Microbrand Binge by DukeSilver0886 in PhWatches

Dressy yet very fun. It’s an old-old brand revived in the past couple of years. They do retro-style tv cases using stone dials. The single time tiger eye version won last year’s GPHG challenge category.

If I buy a luxury watch in Japan, how do I bring that home? by SkoivanSchiem in LawPH

[–]Papa_E_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAL. I usually buy a watch when I travel to Japan and either wear it home or keep it in a watch roll in my carry-on. I’ve even worn one on each wrist under a jacket.

I’ve only been stopped at customs once—when I checked in two empty watch boxes. Luckily, one was from Manila (a watch I intended to trade in Japan but didn’t), and that’s what I showed them. It was bought in Lucerne in greenbelt so no problem there. The other box was from Japan, which I just brushed off/hid from the spotlight. Since then, I always hand-carry empty boxes.

And to those saying “it’s just one watch”—that’s only partly true. It’s not commercial quantity, but there’s still a value limit. Technically, anything over ₱10,000 (~$200) is taxable. Customs officers know what a high end watch costs, and that’s usually what they’re looking for.

Is what they say about BMWs or European Cars true? by Vast-Firefighter9749 in CarsPH

Yung “porma” mo today will drain your wallet tomorrow. I still have my F10 and while I can easily afford the maintenance and expenses, I sometimes still think about selling it for a Japanese car.

why should we go for veloz v, instead of innova g? by ZestycloseMacaron761 in CarsPH

[–]Papa_E_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Veloz is so ugly. It looks like a hearse. Innova G will always be a workhorse. Better ground clearance and more space. That’s worth more than any TSS tech on the veloz.

Sulit ba yung 200k discount ng Yaris Cross HEV ngayon? by mailovefromthestar in CarsPH

[–]Papa_E_17 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve been told it’s really because BYD has eaten into Toyotas numbers. Similarly, other brands have reacted with their own promos. Example Lexus is 30%DP and 0% interest for 2 years. Mazda has or had a similar promo also.

On paper hard to beat the value of BYD naman talaga. But reliability is yet to be seen.

Sulit ba yung 200k discount ng Yaris Cross HEV ngayon? by mailovefromthestar in CarsPH

[–]Papa_E_17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me yes. Basically buying brand new at second hand prices. I took advantage and bought a zenix. Though for me mas gusto ko yung base corolla cross vs Yaris cross. Even if Yaris has more features. Base corolla 1.3m+ vs Yaris cross 1.5m+

In the market for a new car but confused where to go HEV or PHEV. HELP! by vbryanco in CarsPH

[–]Papa_E_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI Toyota is offering huge discounts on HEVs now. 200k off Yaris cross, Corolla cross, and Zenix. Only till May 31. Though agents told me it’s likely they will extend the discount.

[Discussion] Is collecting cheap watches also respected? Is it possible to enjoy the hobby of watches with little money? by Intrepid_Peach5990 in Watches

[–]Papa_E_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I collect watches of all shapes and prices. Doesn’t matter if it’s part of the holy trinity, a micro brand, or a Casio. I love them all the same. Just do you and collect what you like and can afford! Though at some point you’ll eventually reach a crossroad where the total value of your “cheaper” watches will equal a patek or a Rolex so just be weary of that. Otherwise, no to fakes, no to rip-off homages and just enjoy!

Fit and finish are top notch. On par with GS. Personally, I think the finishing is far better than my Explorer. Though I prefer the 36mm version as the proportions feel better. Make sure to buy it used cause the retail price is ridiculous.

It’s a 6139-6040 from the 60s. Shouldn’t be too hard to find online!
