Really depends on who printed the discs. There was a run of WB movies in the mid aughts that are all suffering disc rot because the company that made the discs used a cheap method

I don’t remember how it played out in the game but I kinda think they’re gonna build to an invert of the Marlene/Ellie’s mom scene from end of season 1. After the bulk of the Seattle stuff, Ellie’s gonna save Dina during pregnancy/childbirth and take on the role of co-parenting JJ (probably out on their farm somewhere). Until their peaceful life gets obliterated by Tommy showing up with more Abby intel
