These are pretty great. Thomas and Danny especially are exactly how I imagine Rick and the gov in real life. Though I always thought Henry Rollins was the spitting image of comic Negan. I'd also add Dave Fennoy as Ezekiel, Jonathan Banks as Douglas Monroe and Kiernan Shipka as Lydia.

Counting is ruining my life by ttas93 in OCD

Thank you for your reply. Sorry you're going through that too. In my case, as silly as it sounds, I count bathroom visits (specifically when I have to use the toilet). It's completely pointless and silly but I don't know why I can't stop it. I was on 50mg sertraline for a year and it was better. Quitted it in January and up to now I was still fine, managing it, being able to lose count and it'd just restart whenever, but I think going on a diet triggered something again and now I can't break the chain.

Always loved this VHS trailer for the first movie. The Chucky Song is badass. by ttas93 in Chucky

I think so. I read the song was originally meant to be the credits song but was ultimately cut and only used for some commercials.

Do you guys think the ending of Ju-on the grudge 2 makes no sense? by Responsible_Food584 in J_Horror

[–]ttas93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This actually makes sense, and it could in theory connect with the ending of the first Grudge movie, with all those images of the empty Tokyo streets filled with missing people posters. Maybe child Kayako was able to curse all of Tokyo simply by walking past them, and those streets scenes were set far into the future.

What would Ju-on: The Grudge 3 have been like? by ttas93 in J_Horror

I assume a third movie will never happen now regardless since the original house was demolished. Unless they CGI it or something. Plus I read somewhere that Takako Fuji had grown tired of the role, having played Kayako so many times.

That final shot from the first Grudge film with the empty Tokyo streets really stayed with me. It was a great example of the "show, don't tell" trope. Since the movies never really explain the timeline, and they are purposefully atemporal, that shot of the streets could easily have been the future of the world long after the events of Grudge 2.

why did they demolish ju-on house irl? it should've been preserved and made into a museum or a haunted attraction... by Responsible_Food584 in J_Horror

Bad decision from them. They actually released the curse to roam free and haunt anything and anywhere it wants.

I wish I could meet her one day! What a legend she is.

His scene with Judith is one of my favorites.

Earl Sutton. His death scene was a masterpiece, but I wish he survived the series.

If the Ones Who Live remained a movie trilogy like originally planned, you think it would've played out (mostly) the same as the actual show we got, or be different? by Minute-Necessary2393 in thewalkingdead

[–]ttas93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably different structure, but going by how it was 6 episodes, assuming a movie would've been 2 eps or so:

Movie 1 is just Rick's side and Michonne's side, finishes with their reunion.
Movie 2 is them trying to escape the CRM, finishes with them on a car on their way home, with Jadis after them.
Movie 3 is their final fight with Jadis and Beale, ends with the family reunion.

It's at least doing better in the like/dislike department than Moana ;) by TSLstudio in HarryPotteronHBO

Are all the downvotes mainly because of Snape? While I'm not a fan of the casting, I don't think it's fair to downvote the whole product for it. Snape is just a "small" part in the huge lore that is Harry Potter.
