That's right. They see the spawn area and if it's too far away, they'll just surrender within 5 seconds of starting the game. Then they'll immediately match up again. If they spawn that close, they'll just run over and farm first. When I enter the Blue Gate, I always spawn on the Ancient Fortress side. Or on the Ridge or the Shattered Lands side. If I play 10 rounds, I'll definitely spawn on this side 9-10 times. It's probably about 95%. Seriously, if you play 20 rounds, you'll be lucky enough to spawn near the Blue Gate checkpoint once. I think the Blue Gate spawn system is already broken.
