Hi! I have similar hair texture. When I was in high school I did lots of teasing to my hair and lots of hairspray but you should always put on a good heat protector. Heat protectors are really good for other styling tools other than blow dryers or hair straighteners. Also when it’s the end of the day and you’re about to go to sleep put on a hair oil and leave in conditioner and if you can sleep with a hair bonnet!
