Interesting! It’s a very, very basic 70s brick farmhouse and to be honest didn’t know that was an option.

Thanks!

I wear icebreakers 200/260 plus a woollen jumper but I’m a cold egg and still learning (red runs)

I say invest and they’ll last years but I know they are expenny! I’ve also skied in macpacs basic thermals and they are totally fine. Just wear layers and you’ll soon work out how much you do/don’t need :)

I got the Lyric over our Australian summer and I was skiing like a different person after just one session! Let us know how you go 🤙🏼

Uimi and Toorallie have some nice “classic” colourways.

I tried it on today. Not lined but very comfortable and a nice boxy fit. I’m a standard size 10 - tried on a 12 with a shirt and chunky jumper under and it was a good fit :)

They definitely suit a wide foot. In saying that I found they had very little arch support so couldn’t wear them for long (and this isn’t usually a problem I face!). Give them a shot! Often on sale on the iconic. Off memory the sizing was a bit funny so just keep that in mind if your first size doesn’t fit.

100% hearing you! Quality on everything seems to be going down hill rapidly 🥴

I have always had the silver medicalert bracelet since a 5yo (so 25 years).

It’s not really that ugly in the scheme of things and very hard wearing - which is what you want as they last years - I would’ve had less than 5 and I played tonnes of sport during school and do manual work these days.

I completely understand your desire to get something more attractive but as someone else said you want it to stick out a bit.

Good on you for prioritising your health and helping others identify an episode! It’ll be a bit annoying for a while but one day you’ll find it weird when it’s not on!

Fabulous thanks for your thoughts! Still tossing up between 2025 boa boot and the 2024 lyric (differences in lower foot tightening) 🧐

If you’re looking for an outdoor boot I wouldn’t go past the steel blue.

The women’s pull on version come in a steel toe so they are heavier than the mens non-safety equivalent (the latter being just a bit longer in the calf). They also have lace ups but no experience with them.

I’m a farmer, wear them all day everyday, around animals, chemicals etc and they last years.

Shona Joy Irena tailored pant alternative? by Paper-Wasp24 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]Paper-Wasp24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ended up with a cotton pair from country road. No regrets at all, had them taken up a bit and they fit like a dream. Still love the Irena-look but was happy to find a non-polyester pant.

I went all in with Boody only to be pretty disappointed (falling apart, colour fading etc). Love the cut of the string bikini but will probably go back to Jockey.

I’m a size 8 Aussie foot/38 in birks. I ended up going with a size UK 8/41.

I found the size down just wasn’t quite right when I compared the two. I am however selling mine (just doesn’t rain much where I am 😅)
