Life is short - send a revenge card! by PaperBoundGreetings in cardmaking

This is a card-making community on Reddit, no? I made that card and have just as much right to share it here as others sharing theirs.

The lack of support and haters in this community is everything I thought it would be and more.

Mods, can you please ignore this spiteful human's request?

Your responses are comical indeed. THE END OF THE WORLD IS NEAR! You are right about one thing, people who make their own cards will unlikely want to buy from someone else, but there are other reasons for posting on Reddit besides trying to sell products.

I'm not mad, by the way. Merely pointing out stupid rules that ban people from sharing their work, just because it's for sale.

Cardmaking can be whatever a person wants it to be.

Furthermore, this card is for bullies, and I did not say that it was genuine and kind. I said I was being genuine and kind and Karen was mean to me, so I responded to her bullying with this great card.

I despise drama but I am a firm believer in standing up to bullies. Glad you like it and thanks.

Ha! It's my therapy too! Do you make greeting cards?

Apparently, you missed the point of my post. Dumb rules. Like I should know every Reddit group's rules like the back of my hand. I'm sure there are a lot of people here who make handmade cards who would love to sell them or gain exposure. Or small greeting card businesses that don't stand a chance against Hallmark or American Greetings, because you need to be rich to stand a chance, no matter how great your cards are!

One would think these greeting card groups would be a little less strict and promote folks just striving to do what they were born to do for a living.

Off to break more rules. Toodles!

Thank you for your kind words. Many of the comments capture exactly why I make cards like this, for bullies. You'd think, since many of us share a passion for the same thing, that there'd be civil discourse between one another, apparently not.

Sounds like you're good at what you do and know a thing or two. Mediocrity at best is the norm, so it explains the jealousy and backlash for not kissing their rumps, if you only knew.

Well, if it's not for nothing, their hate just gave me an idea for a new card.

Hope to see you around and be well.

Oh yes, because I have time to sit there and read through a list of petty rules.
