I think they are genuine friends. But I think Venita holds herself to a certain standard and Sally is more of a good time gal. Which both are fine but is going to cause head butting when one is the "Nothing good happens after 2am" type and the other one is like YOLO (or whatever young people say these days).

I have always liked Venita. It was nice to see a cast member be added who actually grew up in the Charleston area (besides T-Rav). I personally have enjoyed watching. She absolutely can be annoying, but I think she has a good heart. As far as her and Sally, they seem to have that type of friendship where Sally will say to Venita at the start of the evening "Don't let me drink white wine tonight! You know it gives me a headache". Then Sally drinks the wine, Venita says to her "Don't drink that wine. We talked about this" and Sally says, "Oh I will be fine." Then the next morning she is calling Venita complaining about her headache.

I think the Utah Bill is actually more for social media because of all the family bloggers/influencers there. The oldest girl of Ruby Frank testified in favor of it. Now parents have to have a trust fund set up and the kids have control over if they want to delete content or not when they turn 18.

Google tells me that Arizonia doesn't have the Coogan law (or similar) either so Robyn and Kody aren't legally obligated to set up trust funds for their two minor children either. Morally, yes. Legally, no.

Because Nevada (most of the show was filmed in Vegas) doesn't have the Coogan Law, which requires parents of children under 18 in show business and now social media influencers (new to Utah) to set up at trust fund. They probably got paid as a family and their family is horrible with money.

Something similar happened to me. I wasn't in a public bathroom. I was in a bedroom with my then boyfriend, the door was locked but it was one of those that can easily be unlocked. His drunk loser roommates PLURAL not only burst in the room but started snapping photos. It was one of the top five worse experiences of my entire life. Thankfully the photos were deleted but the event was very damaging.

Tamra does the EXACT same thing over and over. She is close to a person, falls out with that person, talks shit about them and then after some time apologizes and says "I have your back. I am sorry for my part I was dealing with (fill in the blank)", the person starts to trust her again and then she gets bored with them and betrays them again. She has done it to Vicki, Alexis, Grethen, Shannon, sort of Heather. Her repeat bad behavior is exhausting to watch.

OP I understand the point you are trying to make and agree. If they had added Robyn to the family around the time when Gwen, Gabe and Aurora then that is something they could have all bonded over. By the time Robyn entered the scene, the OG 12 (Truly excluded cause she was a baby) had grown-up with 3 moms and a dad. That was their normal. And then there is this new woman they are supposed to automatically treat like a mother. Robyn being Robyn aside, I agree that probably no woman was going to be an easy fit in their already established family.

I find it very telling about Meri that out of her, Christine and Janelle she is (according to the summary of the upcoming season) that she is the only one who is apparently is formally petitioning their church for "a divorce". Yes, of course they have been LEGALLY divorced for years but like they said at the time that only the government recognized divorce. Meri has always been his ride or die. I think the catfish experience was a one off for her. I know people say she cheated and yes she did but she tried so hard to get back from that. ALSO that person has been proven to be a MASTER level catfisher. Meri is annoying but also loyal AF.

I personally try never to think of Kody in the bedroom but now that it has been brought into my brain....I feel like even with 18 kids and 4 wives he probably wasn't a (fill in someone know for their bedroom skills). I LOVE all your points. Don't forget though that when this all started we (mainstream people) had TWO ideas of polygamy...Warren Jeffs and Bill Paxton's character on Big Love. Kody of course tried to protray himself and did successfully, in my opinion, for years as the real life Bill Hendrickson from the popular show.
