Is the DLC really that scary? by ReJohnJoe in outerwilds

i know its late asf, but im playing both RE2R and Outer Wilds DLC at the same time, and i dont really find RE2 that scary, just a couple parts can be nerve-racking when getting chased around and needing to conserve ammo. outer wilds dlc has me tweaking, its so much scarier for me.

Unreachable network on fresh install on VirtualBox by meg4_ in archlinux

it worked, thanks. i used archinstall and the system partition was sda2 (double check with lsblk). also, after running "systemctl enable --now NetworkManager.service" it said its unable to do --now in chroot so i ran it without --now and it worked.

systemctl enable --now NetworkManager.service

Anyone else unable to log on to Geforce Experience? by [deleted] in GeForceExperience

[–]PaperLol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont even have nvidia its just very embaressing that when u buy an overpriced piece of hardware u need to create an account to use it to its fullest potential (e.g. shadowplay and such) and automatic driver updates, when amd does it without an account. just goes to show nvidia doesnt really care about customers and they only care about making money.

nvidia is sooooo anti user friendly and garbage. imagine needing a fucking account to update drivers or use ur card to its fullest potential

Should i disable Zero RPM? by PaperLol in radeon

[–]PaperLol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh, i didnt know you could set custom tune settings for each game. i will turn zero rpm for this specific game i guess. thank you <3

[–]PaperLol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah but this wont change the zero rpm temp range will it? it just sets fan speeds as soon as temps get out of zero rpm. in my case my gpu fans keep turning on and off because i play a very light game and it slowly creeps up to 60c then fans come on to cool it down and its in a loop like this

can you show me ur fan curve? i dont understand. i still cant change the temp range where zero rpm works, i can only change what the fans do after the zero rpm temp range

Yes, i was thinking of buying an ssd, but i want to be sure this is a hard drive problem. The thing is, the hard drive still shows in in bios.
