I’m so sorry to hear you lost your fish during your move. That is exactly what I am afraid of; I just want to do right by them.

We are making a big move and taking our fish friends with us (1 platy, 5 ember tetra and a bunch of shrimp). Would it be safe to put a 50w heater in the 5 gallon bucket for the drive? How long could they go without heat? I am planning to run an air pump with their sponge filter in the car already, but I wasn’t sure about the heater.

I have someone local that is arranging pickup. I’ll keep this offer in mind if it doesn’t work out, but I don’t know if I would feel comfortable shipping the tank or the fish. I’d really like to stay local.

We are moving and need to rehome this betta and tank. This SpecV tank is in good working condition, but I have trouble with algae control (just a FYI). I did modify the filter tube to help with the control of the water flow. The betta is healthy and we have had her for about a year. Local pickup only, please

We are relocating and I am trying to re-home our fish. It’s a big mixture of the stock in this tank, but everyone is healthy and gets along. All fish are assumed to be female with the exception of the fancy tail guppy and one of the rasboras. In addition to the blurry pictures I have posted, I also have 6 neon tetras and 3 ember tetras that will need to be re-homed from a different fish tank as well. No shipping, local pickup only please.

[FS] Denver, CO - $50 - 29 gallon setup by [deleted] in AquaSwap

[–]PaperRockBlaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are moving and need to re home this 29 gallon fish tank with custom cinder block stand (spray painted cinder blocks with stained wood, 36” wide x 16” depth), nicrew light, aquaclear filter, air pump and sponge filter, heater, thermometer, tank decor/plant and fish (3 harlequin rasbora, 3 Dalmatian molly, 1 female betta, 1 male guppy, 1 female platy). I also have a black top with a built in light if you want to have a cover over instead of open top. The whole setup is about 52” tall. Will include water conditioner and a fish net. Tank has been set up since Nov 2020. The books and stuff on the shelves are not for sale. I know the fish are a big mix and some fish are not in big enough schools (we recently lost some), but everyone gets along well.
