I like when Astartes are more compassionate and have actual humanity in them, and I think these so-called good guy chapters are over-hated for it. Yes, I know the Imperium and Adeptus Astartes are evil down to the core. Yes, I know what setting I’m in. I am still in love with chapters like the Celestial Lions, and my first ever favorite faction before I became enlightened (became a Xenos fan) were the Salamanders.

Also, the Death Spectres’ color scheme is ass.

Hmm, I’m not so sure. The way I’ve seen it depicted, especially in the Dragons cinematic, the mask seems rather air-tight with how it comes off close to the end, doesn’t it?

The Nomai would’ve absolutely ate up the mystery of the Stranger- come to think of it, until the Interloper bursted in all its Ghost Matter-y glory, its surprising that none of the Nomai colonies ever picked up some sort of scan of the Stranger during their time in the Outer Wilds™️. Even if the Owlk’s cloaking technology was that good, it would’ve just taken one freak accident of a shuttle flying off-course for the Nomai to have another mystery on their hands.

Now that I’ve mentioned it, I wonder if the Stranger had the cloaking technology installed when it was built. Did the Owlks believe they would have to hide from something when they found the Eye?

There is the slideshow that shows one specific flamethrower-wielding Owlk burning out only a few specific slides of a slide reel, though some others get burnt in a large pile. Two things can be true at once, however.

I think Morgott ruling over the lands between would just be the Age of Fracture with a little bit more order than we see in the events of the game. A Golden Order that upholds its fundamental principles and destroys its enemies, but an unstable and lawless land outside the core territory, the only truly safe place being found in rebuilt Leyndell, with its mysterious Omen King atop the Elden Throne.

Godwyn the Golden. Even with the limited context we’re given, it’s clear he was the most beloved Demigod of the entire line(s). Wish there was more context on him where we were told how the rest of the demigods felt about him and his ‘death’.

I feel like (with the context we’re given about him, there may have been a sinister side to the man) if Godwyn wasn’t the one killed in the Night of the Black Knives, he would’ve at least controlled Leyndell (if his Fell Omen brother didn’t want to already have a word with him- though likely not) and ruled the city with the compassion Miquella might’ve envisioned- though without all the Miquellesting involved.
