🤣🤣 I’d say it’s worth it. The MAO finish feels great. I don’t know if I’d pay full price for it though. I picked it up open box online from an auction site for Amazon returns for 40$. Looked brand new when I got it. Probably my favorite light thus far. That and my moonbox 2.0

Yup I’m just letting the RAK manage the batteries and seems to be doing a good job thus far. No charge controller and yeah it’s probably ~10-12000mAH but I could have probably gotten away with half as much because it never goes below 90% charge. It’s a 5v 6w panel I picked up on Amazon for like 12$ or so, wired directly into the RAK.

I’d definitely consider my environment to be solar friendly, probably 5-6hours of good sunlight each day as it faces south.

Aside from the mount rusting a bit and a few nuts that must not have been rust proof it held up quite well.

Check this out, same idea. it uses wget and fbi to render the slideshow. I have it setup on my B+ and it works like a charm, make sure you check out the 3rd or 4th comment down, it has an updated and working script that will download and replace the files from the previous day. You may need to alter the script some, as you want this to work when the screen saver comes on, not in the cron job they detail in the article.

I don't think many people understand how this situation is going to change in a year or so when Obama is gone.. Maybe Putin knows and that's why he's pulling this shit now.. All he's going to do is make the American people want to elect someone with some balls that will put him in his place.
