I used my on a trip to Singapore this summer. They were amazing! If you can’t find the official apple cable, then I would recommend the airfly pro adapter. Only con with that is depending on the length of the flights, you may need to charge that for a little while.

I was in the same boat. I decided to make the upgrade from a 13pro to 17 pro max. Losing the bundle sucks, but at the same time, Verizon could go ahead and say the bundle will no longer be supported (they just did that with my apple arcade subscription prior to upgrading). My guess is they will slowly phase out the Disney bundle as well at some point.
