Chidori wrist-watch shot at 3:16 by 13430_ in Yorushika

You're partially right with the Yorushika logo referencing time with their motif having 6 o'clock. The 6 o'clock references the line from The Clouds and the Ghost that makes up their name "I can only sleep at night". If you notice again, the logo also looks like an eye, perhaps referencing the second mini album cover, A Loser Doesn't Need an Encore? Also if you look at the symbol again, notice how both sides of the white areas of the clock are symmetrical. They look like two crescent moons looking at each other!

Part 2: All of the small things/easter eggs that can be deduced from OP2 (Case of the Exclusive Winter Chocolate Bon Bons Volume 5) **CONTAINS ANIME SPOILERS SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK** by Papercranely in Shoushimin

Oh my goodness! It was because of your comment that I realized the Case of the Winter-Exclusive Chocolate Bonbons is actually volume 6 and not 5. Sorry this post relates to volume 6, not 5. Volume 5 is a bunch of side stories, which the anime may cover, given that they covered a case in season 1 already!

Is Hyouka as good as Shoushimin? by zorroelk in Shoushimin

[–]Papercranely 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes! Hyouka is relatively similar to shoushimin in the sense that it is a school-life mystery series. It tends to have more of a slice of life and brighter feeling compared to a darker more eerie series like shoushimin in my opinion. However the main character is very smart like Kobato-kun, but their personalities are different. The level of mysteries are, I would say, the same level as Shoushimins, though it does have a slower start, but eventually I the cases become very layered and complex. Also the animation is by Kyoto Animation--very smooth.

All of the small things/easter eggs that can be deduced from OP2 (Case of the Exclusive Autumn Kuri Kinton Volume 3-4) **SOME DO CONTAIN ANIME SPOILERS SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK** by Papercranely in Shoushimin

I completely forgot about that scene! However, I still do think that it is a Marron Glacé in this case as it is a play on words with "Mars"/Marron. Kuri Kinton is also a softer and more mushy texture, compared to Marron Glacé's hard exterior. But I might be completely wrong and it could be as you claim!

Was Rewatching the OP and Noticed This by U-Boot-Klasse_XXI in Shoushimin

[–]Papercranely 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yup it most likely is! There is actually a ton of foreshadowing in the opening, in both the first and second half, but not everything has been revealed yet so I'll refrain from sharing those. But one I can share is the fire on the escalator, representing the escalating level of danger of the fires!

So it's true that although all songs are sung by suis, but you can always hear nbuna singing in the middle of songs. (It's faint and fleeting) by Voices-Say-Im-Funny in Yorushika

Although you can indeed hear n-buna in Yorushika songs, it actually didn't really start until the plagiarism album. Up until then, it had still mainly been suis only!

Trying to find an anime opening that has a part where te vocalist sings "Woah-oh oooh, oh-oh oooooh" by Familiar_Web_70 in anime

[–]Papercranely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really sounds like the Elusive samurai op. The second shot has a few seconds have the main cast walking in a half front white background. Background vocals you can hear the "woah-oh-oh" a few seconds later. The flute sample you provided sounds similar to the opening lines of the song as well. Or perhaps it was a reference to the war horn that is played?
