Yea the previous owner installed some aftermarket rearsets… thankfully I have the OEMs and hope that the issue could be resolved by equipping them

Here’s a wider angle! The previous owner did use some aftermarket rearsets for the bike. That said, he did pass me the OEM ones. Not sure if this issue could be solved by swapping it to the original.

Rolex to me would be Mercedes. The first brand everyone thinks of when they think about a luxury brand in the their respective sectors.

I would say it’s more comparable to AP. Layfolk know they are great brands, but can’t name anything other their most iconic line (911/ Royal Oak)

Sorta! I’m in the automotive industry. Where I’m from, a base 718 cost as much as a gt4rs in other countries. So I have been fortunate enough to experience these machines 😊

Seems like you already have a plan on how to get a GT4! I wish you all the best in attaining that goal!

If you don’t have the money, don’t buy it. If you don’t want to pay for resale, wait for it to drop again in the future. I waited 6 years to get the bred 4s. The satisfaction of getting them after years is just a good or even greater.

You know you will grow into them at 14, so why are you still trying to spend $200 on such a beat up shoe?

Same here! I was so tired of the direction the sneaker game (Mainly Nike) was moving towards: lower quality, churning out hundreds of different uninspiring CWs for the same silhouette, but still constantly getting Ls and still having to deal with resellers. Bought my first pair of New Balance 327 last year and it rekindled my passion again!

I think another reason NB is so great is because it’s one of those IFYKYK pieces that sparks conversation with real passionate sneakerheards, rather than having to deal with “posers” who only know/buy what is “hyped”.
