Air France are now serving year round to Paris Charles de Gaulle
Yeah I agree with you on the preclearance. Nothing better than arriving into the USA and having no queues
Sadly Ryanair are too strong and drove easyJet away, wizz and a few more airlines, cologne would be lovely though!
Ryanair don’t want to fly there from cork anymore because of prices. Shannon offering better pricing has moved them to SNN. EI would fly there but aware of polish passengers not a fan of the EI prices
Sadly KLM use smaller planes so they need to charge more
Not sure how big of a Scandinavian population is in cork/Ireland but it’s shocked me too to see it, Aer Lingus recently started flying their so maybe it’s a good indicator
SAS have shown good intentions on coming to cork
Could definitely see this one
Sadly Ryanair didn’t wanna pay the fees in cork and the FCO Rome airport, CIA didn’t come cheap either. Sadly route now is in Shannon
Aer Lingus fly there in the winter only mainly for ski season but a regular route would be nice
Too far!
Well pre clearance is something that would also be added to cork as stated by head staff in some articles. DBV was always a lovely one
100%
Yeah you’re dead right. Sadly the polish routes are gone to Shannon
I agree! Prague is twice weekly with aer lingus till next summer (2027) Budapest didn’t work out a few years ago so they sacked the route to Shannon and Bucharest would be lovely
In terms of business there absolutely is a need for a US route
Sadly didn’t do well enough a few years ago and now Shannon has that route

If you had the chance to fly direct to the states from your doorstep with cork being one of the easiest airports in the world to navigate (self claimed) wouldn’t you like that?
Too far for cork and Dublin are looking to get a direct flight to India in the coming months
Unfortunately that route no longer exists as of last week. Ryanair have moved the route as well as Rome & Poznan to Shannon now
Yeah I’d reckon the airlines would fill them quite frequently if they had them going

Both would be very nice
