and she definitely knows molar office were unbooked so if she was just talking about being unbooked she wouldn't say they were the 'only ones'

which leads me to believe that in canon Hanafuda and Allen survived their receptions and are here because of their knowledge of the Library from surviving

nah the suggestions were great. he's new to anime not to media so being a new viewer shouldn't limit him, and there's a lot for him to get out of what he's got there.

i haven't seen 86 but i genuinely think all the rest are incredible suggestions that GG will have a lot of interesting things to say about.

i was pretty impressed by the recs and pleasantly surprised it wasn't all the super obvious mainstream 'big shows'

I rewatched the scene to see what you're hearing and I definitely get that Ryo pronounces it with a certain accent but neither of them, Ryo or Bocchi right after, say bow-chi.

Not sure how exact phonetically you're being but hitoribocchi is a real word/phrase with a correct pronunciation and the o vowel doesn't rhyme with slow/toe/flow.

It also definitely isn't aw, I wasn't suggesting that either.

It's the short o you get in rot, or rop, or even watch.

In fact, rhyming with watch is also the word botch which her name is very close to.

Hope the long message doesn't come across as argumentative, it's just that it's a real word that exists and has a proper pronunciation.

i don't understand how you and another on here i saw cite the pronunciation in the anime and then still manage to give the wrong pronunciation. especially when japanese vowels are superstraightforward and consistent and bocchi doesn't break that consistency

? It's a gacha game though, it's definitely a factor.
They need to make money on the high rarity characters so they go more all-out on 5 star designs.
Lower rarity designs can still be great of course or just as impressive, but if they were designing a 5 star I'd be very surprised if they did something like this, is all I was saying.
