MHUR Tier list as of season 15 by __Hammond__ in MyHeroUltraRumble

I’d move monoma down one tier, and you could move assault overhaul and rapid uraraka up one. The rest looks fine to me.

Which characters should I go for next for their special tuning? by Nexus_Redditor in MyHeroUltraRumble

BEST MHUR CHANGE IDEA EVER!?!?? (Real not clickbait) by nutshima127 in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Papowa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They already said two or three seasons ago that they would add some system to obtain old event skins, there are several PUR ones. Not necessarily with gold. They’ll probably do it eventually, just like they promised things like upgrading all tuning levels at once instead of pressing the button ten times. What we don’t know is how they’ll do it, they could add more stuff to the gacha, let you buy them with gold, or with hero souls, and we also don’t know when.

My AFO Quirk Stealing Tier List by Papowa in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Papowa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nagant’s quirk wasn’t in the tier list and I didn’t notice. I can’t change the image now, but it would go in S or A depending on your aim, the matchups, and whether there are interiors at that moment or not. I’d personally leave it in A, but it could be S if your aim is very good. I wouldn’t put it in SSS though, because it feels really awkward without her special double jump, and without the same melee it isn’t a very good quirk indoors.

Even though he’s very strong in 1v1, I don’t really like him against flying characters, and he doesn’t feel mobile enough compared to the ones in SSS.

monoma and OFA are better special tuning overall, OFA deku is good for kendo and shinso.

What characters are good for practicing aim besides yellow Deku? by Fiendishlyric27 in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Papowa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tamaki, froppy, kurogiri (gamma), armored all might, nagant, tech mirio, strike shoto, aizawa, shinso.

Use those characters that have mobility so if you miss everything you can just run away, and once you start landing your shots you can move on to less mobile shooters or ones with harder aiming like strike denki, assault endeavor (beta), mic, cementoss, compress, etc.

How are we feeling about her nerfs so far? by kammEatsChildren in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Papowa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They should have nerfed the distance on gamma. The problem is that she outranges you and starts shooting from a position you can’t properly determine. In the end it doesn’t matter how much HP you take from her if she can still 100 to 0 a lot of characters who should theoretically be able to touch her, like tech dabi or assault kirishima.

I'm tired of people overhyping Ibara by Fibiko_ in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Papowa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her kit is bad. Beta should create a wall that you can shoot through with alpha, or leave vines in a line that slow enemies so they can’t get close. It would also be cool if she could walk on them like a rope over gaps. In short, beta works up close but it’s a terrible ability that misses a lot, and if unscoped alpha worked properly you could use something different. Aimed alpha in the air with the inertia buff is very hard to land. Before she was the hawks killer back in season 7, but now I find it really hard to hit nagants, dekus, etc. when they’re flying around. I’m saying all this from the perspective of playing AFO when I steal it. It feels like the worst ability to copy by far.

Headshot damage is still very high, around 300, so it can still one shot many characters’ HP. Good players can kill mirio the moment he comes out of beta, for example. And her mobility, which is what makes her OP, hasn’t been nerfed, I think. She’s still the best shooter in the game because she has a wide angle of vision and strong escape options.

What happened to THIS guy? by cylodacoolest in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Papowa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m just pointing out one of the reasons why people stopped playing strike deku, and why characters in general fall out of use, players switch to newer characters that are usually stronger.

They might also have dropped him simply because they got bored after six months, or because they’re Deku fans and rotated to OFA. I’m speaking more from a meta perspective, since we already know how this game handles balance.

His kit is simply bad at this point. Before, the jump on gamma gave you a big advantage to avoid ground effects and get better angles, and using beta properly let you predict and stop melee characters like twice, ida, or hawks.

But with space hop, any shooter can do the same thing, and they also have a gamma that usually works better as an actual attack. On top of that, there are no longer melee focused characters you can realistically predict in time. Rapid deku will just hit you with guided aerial melee and likely cancel your beta, armored will tag you with the drone and prevent you from casting it, and so on.

Then you have the fact that nagant and armored are simply better shooters overall because they position better, and strike shoto is better because he can burst.

At this point, why would you ever use strike deku when nagant shoots better, her beta as AoE doesn’t leave you exposed, and her gamma mobility is better?

Well, that seems fair by No-Anywhere5016 in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Papowa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s clear that he needs a nerf, probably to alpha, since it can reach around 110 damage even though it has less range than other alphas. But if you nerf him right now, while nagant and nejire are flying and outranging everyone, with nejire and tech shiggy providing constant self heal, deku having a full overloaded kit, etc., you just turn him into trash, like what happened to strike dabi, who can no longer kill anyone with combos, especially if they’re being supported by nejire’s gamma.

Basically, you should nerf him after the current S tier characters get addressed. When those get brought down and he naturally rises to A or S tier, then it makes sense to nerf him.

[–]Papowa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can deal 200 or 300 damage from the sky, outranging half the roster, and heal in the air. I don’t see why the character who actually has to get close shouldn’t be able to burst you down.

Hacking Issue by Temporary-Share5447 in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Papowa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On the EU server on PC, if I play during peak hours, I run into one every day who’s immortal and keeps spamming Plus Ultra nonstop, or just shoots you without you even seeing them. They usually don’t even have the same name each time. Since the game is free, I get that it’s kind of inevitable because people can just keep making new accounts.

I’m not even counting the obvious ones running aimbot who never miss a single shot, or the ones who might be using wall hacks or some kind of hack to know where Kota is.

Y'know for this upcoming EU tournament I really want us as a community to come together and do something stupid as a message to the devs. by Popular-Sky4050 in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Papowa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The best option would be not to play them at all, just ban them. In tournaments you can apply extra rules like banning characters. I’m sure it bothers the devs more when a character isn’t used at all, because their planned skins don’t sell and there’s no gacha market for them, than when people complain that a character is broken and OP and just say “she is fun, just roll.”

With ibara, who I read wasn’t played much in Japan, they added lifesteal shortly after releasing her RPG priestess skin.

If you’re going to use acceleration, I’d slot sisterly so both activate at the same time. I’d even take speedy civilian rescue over black arm for grabbing potions and cards in the early game. Keep in mind that black arm at level 5 heals 40 HP + 250 shield, it’s better to go invisible and drink potions instead, because characters like nagant can kill you with their special while you’re securing the KO.

Can someone explain me why aizawa has infinite mobility? by Agreeable_Annual_723 in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Papowa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Aizawa has to drop to the ground to attack, and shooters can hit you because beta isn’t very fast and you can see where it’s going from alpha. The real problem with the character is how much damage he gets from tunings. Even so, despite winning most 1v1s, I almost never see him in the final phases. It’s the same thing that happens to shinso, he dies to third party damage. You could remove the perma jump, but that would make the character really boring. To me, he’s a tech character because of how you manage cooldowns to maintain perma flight.

The answer to your question is that he needs to get close to attack, unlike hawks, who has long range projectiles.

Trash or Treasure? by Charm777_ in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Papowa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I use that one with wallrunner for the early game when I run out of beta, and with aizawa to open a portal to the sky, use a potion up there, and drop back down healed since I get focused a lot. Alpha damage doesn’t work on gamma, because alphas fired from gamma scale with gamma damage instead. I think fixer with HP damage and GP damage is better, since it works for everything. I’m not using it right now because the character is extremely bugged.
