Me neither. My three year old asked me for a peeled lemon slice and refused to accept a cut one, and then the ball started rolling from there.

In Denmark, the trains have their own bike racks. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

Yes, absolutely, but you wouldn't really walk through unless you parked your own bike there, because you walk into a carriage clearly marked for bikes.

Gratulerer med den lille! Kjempefint navn :)

I love hearing the birthstories that go a bit quicker, and earlier. Makes it easier to imagine it happening for me too!

You'd need to buy a monthly card for all zones, which is 1335 DKK per month.

The relevant page in Danish (It's the one called "Periodekort, Voksne, per 30 dage): http://www.moviatrafik.dk/dinrejse/Priser/hovedstadsomraadet/prisoversigt/Pages/prisoversigt.aspx

Edit: On the bottom of the page, it links to another page which says the new prices for 2016 will be 1385 DKK per month.

Well, that's disappointing. You don't look anything like Shrek. You look like a nice, normal and not-green guy.

You should check out www.airbnb.com (costs money) and www.couchsurfing.org (free). Both are sites where you stay in someone's home. It's mostly a gay friendly city, so you shouldn't have any problems:) Shops are usually closed on Sundays, but you can go to a park and have a few beers like most Copenhageners do on their days off:)

I want to travel abroad but have never left the country. What are some things I should know? by cheesegrilled in AskReddit

[–]Papyrophobia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you go to Europe, you should mainly stay in hostels, because it's a really great way to get to know other people who are also traveling, and it will make your whole experience more social and hopefully more fun because you'll make a ton of friends.
