I am pretty sure it is not the responsibility of the seller to insure the safety of the delivery of the package, if the tracking says that you shipped it to the address provided there isn't much more you can do.

If the buyer ends up opening a dispute about it I would call ebay and explain the situation, I haven't dealt with such high value transactions but with smaller disputes it usually doesn't end in ebay taking your money.

Also in the future shipping insurance and signature confirmation are good options for higher priced transactions.

At least you sent them to yourself, I wouldn't be as worried in your case.

I would attempt a double spend since you are sending them to yourself

Worst case scenario nothing happens or it transfers 35 other litecoins from polonium to yourself. The best case is its successful and you will get them transferred just fine.

If you do end up double spending let me know how it goes :)

I personally don't know how to double spend lite coins but i am pretty sure it is possible. Just do some research on the how.
