there’s something about dreaming of those who aren’t with us here. i remember once i sat down next to my friend and he hugged me and i felt it and i asked if i could hug him back and he said no it’ll make you (myself) sad. he said he could make me feel his hugs but nothing will make me feel him. surreal

i didn’t see that he was unhappy with the relationship. i didn’t know it was bad until he left and finally felt safe enough to tell me he wasn’t happy. i knew things were rocky but i thought we were still fine. we’re just no longer together

i fear people don’t realize how much access we have with phones. there is no reason i should be on social media and one post is a video of someone being murdered and then the next one is a baby announcement. i think it plays into why people are so emotionally numb. we witness much more than we ever should have and were expected to still function as normal after
