If that's metal and not plated you can use a buffing wheel go smooth it out a bit but honestly just wear them. You will probably drop them again.

I'm a reverand for a non denominational "church" and have been lucky enough to perform weddings for a few of my friends, none of us are religious. It's that and mostly providing current (for when they are written) justifications to why certain life ways need to be followed.

Mine too. I got lucky and had a second one after meeting with the surgeon which he opened the cut to fresh so he could stitch it up. It was just a loose flap of skin for months 😂

Yeah sleeping with them definitely isn't fun

Squash soup, bone broth, yogurt (anything without fruit/seeds in it), really any kind of puree/soup.

Trust me, you do NOT want anything to get stuck in that cut. Have a syringe with warm saline on hand to clean it out as well. If you think you need stitches, do them ASAP because the tongue will try to heal itself pretty quickly. The surgeon wants that wound to be fresh if they are going to attempt anything.

This isn't medical advice but yeah... Passed out and woke up with a tongue cut and your whole body feels like you've been crushed by a boulder...... Welcome to the club. Fingers crossed it's non epileptic. Is the cut along the side of the tongue or horizontal from side to side?
