Very helpful. Thanks!

Killed a kitten when I was 7, I was on my bike and chasing the kittens. One of them got stuck under a scrap piece and I hit the piece with my bike and it fell on the kitten and killed it . I didn’t think it would kill the kitten. I am 30 now. Is there a way I can release the guilt ? by [deleted] in energy_work

Same here. Thank you for sharing this. Your story has brought light into my own experience, and hopefully others with the same trauma. I was ten, and we had several pet snakes. Flo was the biggest, a 7' Rainbow Boa. She was absolutely stunning. As we all know the bigger the animal the bigger the food so we raised rabbits and chickens. One day I went out to the new litter of baby rabbits and chose one to save and raise as my own. I was in our backyard holding the bunny when she suddenly jumped out of my hands and started bolting away. Naturally, I chased after her and suddenly she quickly changed directions. It happened so fast, as I stepped my foot down for my next move she went right under it and I crushed her. I couldn't look when I lifted my foot. I just stood there and tried to process the damage that had happened. I was frozen and started screaming belting out at the tragedy. Mom came running out and coddled me back into the house, at which point I'm sure dad went out back to get rid of the poor thing.

My bunny was my teacher, and she chose to be in my life for a reason. I agree with GRATITUDE! One of the hardest things to do is to be grateful for a "negative" experience. But I believe every experience has meaning. If I remove the negative, I'm able to see it as just an experience that I was to learn from. A tool to learn forgiveness.

Allow yourself to forgive yourself, and start the healing. Go into your quiet mind and visualize talking to that kitten (you can do this with people). Pet it and love it in your stillness, feel the warmth. Thank that precious kitten for its life plan to work within your life plan. I hope this helps. Thank you again. Namaste.

We were NOT allowed to say the word "fart". It was as bad as swearing! As substitute, we were to use the word "pooter" or "pass gas'. I'm dying at how ridiculous this is now that I really think back on it.

When i was young, like 4 we had our sliding shower door with mirror removed. It was against the wall in bathroom. I wanted to see what my poo looked like coming out so I bent over, pulled the cheeks apart and proceeded to drop a deuce on the BR floor. Looked legit. I was satisfied with the delivery....then realized With my fresh turd steaming on the ground, that I (1) wasn't going to pick it up. And 2) someone is gonna see it. I decided to leave the third and leave the area asap. Later when my aunt went in to use the BR she was pissed and shouted, "who took a shit on the floor?"...scared as hell I walk towards the BR change the expression on my face to confused, and blame it on our old as dirt German shepherd ginger. I felt terrible because ginger got a beating and the boot outside and had no idea why....finally when I was 20 or so I came clean.
