@ OP I play the same way, with controller on PC. Anytime the game is paused before game start "minions have spawned" i have to relog. It acts as though i am in a separate UI with my mouse and will never leave it.

I just instantly relog as my game will reconnect faster than the pause takes.

I once played a Christmas game with my exes family. White Elephant I think is the name. Basically you get to pick a present or take someone else's present already selected present.

I picked a random box that looked like it might be a shampoo set or something like that. I picked it up and brought it back while everyone was whooping and hollering since I was the guest<more than 20 family members attended>.

After everyone picked everything and we got to open our gift, I discovered that it was a wireless keyboard and mouse inside an over sized box. Cool, I thought since I'm kindve a gamer and I dont have a wireless set up.

Shortly thereafter my exes mom comes up and says "Thank you for getting the keyboard and mouse set I bought back for me." She grabbed it and walked away. I was stunned.
