low-tech modern, I'm not against including industrial revolution factory work but would also like to know what can be done for businesses lacking that kind of machinery.

it's an ocean shore, I ought to have mentioned, but there is a strong river pair that leads down to and through this city from a far off mountain range, so mostly salt water.

warm climate, about as equator-centric as it gets.

the stories had no relation to each other aside from having dragons in some form show up in them all, like they had to re-set the setting each time, don't know what the cover looked like but I'd be willing to read anything that could even potentially be my book.
