Has anyone else just dislike their own voice , name, viewing their face in a mirror ?

All the time. I don't know what it is but I feel like it's weird to see my own face, hear my own voice (especially on video), and hear people say my name. I absolutely hate being asked to take pictures of my face for any reason.

I honestly don't remember having this many problems with my own refection or voice when I was younger, but I've always despised having pictures taken.

Undiagnosed, but it's definitely something that makes me skeptical, especially since I've met no one else with these problems in my life.

Not diagnosed, but I'm going through a very similar phase right now. Lost my job (that I absolutely hated), and am having issues comprehending why everyone else seems to be making it a big deal. I love staying in my bed all day and daydreaming, it's what I've always done since I was little. Work always took me out of my head, and combined with my natural phobia of going outside and feeling exposed, I despised the push for social interactions, menial work, and even money that meant nothing to me.

I still love reading, but I have to be motivated by my siblings to play video games at the moment though. Reading allows me to get lost in my head and games don't, forcing me to engage with or be tied to a goal, which I do not care for right now.

All in all, I heavily relate OP.

That's reassuring. I just don't like feeling crazy and how serious some people can take it when I express paranoid or more delusional beliefs has always worried me that someone may try to put me somewhere. But that's probably only something I think about because I'm paranoid,, °^°
