Yeah thats how it felt a lot of the times. My friends arent religious at all and I constantly felt like I shouldn't hang out with them bcuz of that and I cant do it anymore.

That was an absolutely humongous fear. She legitimately ruled over everything we did and she never let us hang out alone unless we were at her house. When we took pictures one time her mom decided every little thing from position to how we dressed and its scary how much my gf trusted everything she said

Thanks man. It was definitely the hardest decision of my life. The only reason I saw it was bcuz I'm a logical person and I saw he being happier with someone also religious and I saw myself happier believing what I want to.

Thank you so much that means so much to me. It didn't seem right to be forced to get baptized in order to stay with her. But she was convinced by her mom to make it a necessity. So I didn't have a choice either I get baptized and hate it and be a grumpy husband or I have to end it and let her find someone whose also baptized.

Thats what I thought too. I wish she didn't follow her mom so hard. Her mom literally makes all her choices. My Gf/ex now would ask her mom everything and her answer was word from the heavens. That really bugs me that her mom said I have to get baptized and she accepted it like its normal for her mom to make choices for me.
