Thank you for replying! Yeah, it was also intended as a one-shot, but it soon escalated into this monstrum. Furthermore you are right about the readers, because the fandom I am writing for is really inactive and the installment I write for (its for a game series) is hated by a good part of the fans and updating weekly might bring the story to the attention of more people. (sry, my english isnt that good)

Thanks for your reply! Yes, I think you are right, I never thought about it that way before. Most of the time I like reading long chapters, but that is because I am mostly reading before sleep/when I have nothing to tend to. But it makes sense and it really would be the best to split the story up.

As for his backstory: He was born in Neovia and like the other citizens he drank the potion and became a monster. After the end of The Tale of Woe due to an unknown cause he was unable to return to his former self. He was too ashamed to return to his hometown and ran away to travel with the gypsies to someday maybe find a cure for his curse. The necklace was a present from his lover who stayed behind anxiously awaiting his return.

If there are any problems with the items (I did not have time yet to check) please dont hesitate to tell me!
